New music and artists.- Jessie J!

One of the hottest new artists for 2011 Jessie J has already come number 1 on the BBC sound of 2011 poll and won the 2011 BRIT critic choice award to name but a few. Her debut single released on the 18th November 2010 ‘Do it Like a Dude’ reached number 2 in the UK and Scotland. Also she performed at the prestigious BRIT awards party. One of the many reasons Jessie J is tipped for success is that she has an original and unique sound and style that people haven’t seen or heard before. Her second single that is due for release later this year even features B.O.B another fresh new talent that’s hot on the charts at the moment. I like Jessie J because in my opinion I think she is a really good singer and is quite an influential artist, she shows people that not all pop singers are manufactured. I also really like her style because it’s cool and not too outrageous and it’s unique to her, she wears what she wants and doesn’t follow the crowd but still looks good. I think this is a good message to the young people of today. Her music is very different and people haven’t heard anything like it before so there is mixed opinions on her some lover her music some hate it. However she already is big in the charts and has celebrity followers like Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera so I don’t think she will going anywhere for a long time.
