Summer 2009 has seen the explosive arrival of Example (aka Elliot Gleave) with his highly original take on life and his unique musical style. Won’t Go Quietly follows single Watch The Sun Come Up as another sparkling slice of modern pop with edge about an obsessive relationship and underlines Example as one of the freshest new voices around. It’s an uplifting anthem and with Example’s fantastic Brit-rap it’s the perfect tune to get up and party the New Year blues away. Its hypnotic chorus again shows us Example’s excellent ear for melody and the widescreen worldview that inform those razor-sharp raps. At heart he is a contemporary songwriter and totally fearless when it comes to mixing up genres and influences.
