Following on from London Fashion Week, London Fashion Weekend promises to help you immerse yourself into all things fashion. Located in the grounds of the Natural History Museum it's the perfect spot for this fabulous event.
If you are a regular to London Fashion you would have noticed some changes in this season, there is some hot new designers on board and wonderful new features to this event. Also holding collections from over 130 designers are on sale at greatly reduced prices, and everything is completely unique. Anything you purchase at this event it is pretty much guaranteed not many will own it.
Here is a little taster of the wonderful things you can do at LFW in addiction to snapping up all of those great designer clothes.
All through the day there are catwalk shows featuring this season's trends, sponsored by Channel 4. The show is labelled "The Secret Garden" - a place where beautiful fashion happens. In scene one it's time to revamp your wardrobe with new and exiting pieces for Spring/Summer. Learn how to dress to impress with key day-wear items. It's completely a blend of abstract floral and ethnic prints and beautifully dipped fabrics, layering modern cuts.
In scene two, you can see how to create a new look for work that will brighten up any office and carry you through Spring/Summer looking cool and calm. Incorporate an air of retro charm and English eccentricity with fifties inspired cuts and bold floral prints.
Finally in scene 3, the models teach us to ditch those dowdy dresses and learn how to be fabulous in a beautiful kaleidoscope of colour, with long feminine lines, seventies inspired cuts and prints. Also add in some architectural and structured design, using ideas of flower buds and blossoms.
On the catwalk visitors were offered up-to-the-minute fashion and beauty advice direct from the experts with Elizabeth Arden providing make-over and beauty consultations and Toni&Guy demonstrating the latest hair colours and styles.
Shoppers get the chance to unwind with a complimentary cocktail in the Campari Red Room or a smooothie ice-cream in the Skinny Cow Bar also Philips will be offering a free personal shopping service to take the hassle out of hunting down those bargains.
If you think that's mind blowing then there is a whole lot more!
If you're keen on pampering yourself; indulge in an Elizabeth Arden make-over, then get the latest make-up and beauty advice in their Beauty Studio.
Visit the Toni and Guy blow out bar, and get a chance to purchase some of their amazing Label M hair products, exclusive to Toni and Guy.
Get tips on how to look hot everyday at the Phillips Stylist Lab.
Get the ultimate lift and the LA Senza Bra Fitting Lounge and get the Sun- Kissed look with a St Tropez Spray Tan.
On top of that all you can also clean up those cuticles with a Revlon Manicure at the Superdrug nail bar.
London Fashion Weekend has an immense atmosphere that really tells us fashion can be anything you want it to be. And that wearing clothes means nothing its how you wear them, and what styles you combine into your everyday outfits. I would defiantly recommend anyone to take a trip, but book tickets early as it is obviously a popular event.
