OUR latest Northern Echo Camera Club profile is of Martin Fishburn, originally from Scarborough, now living in Darlington
Who or what inspired you to take up photography?
IT was starting to travel, and wanting to record my memories that got me started.
Your first camera?
A PENTAX K1000.
What do you most enjoy photographing?
FLOWERS for their colour and beauty. Surfing for the challenge, and the pure enjoyment of watching while taking the shots.
Your favourite picture?
THE marmoset. He looked straight at me and I felt his personality, like a little old Buddhist monk
Your go to kit at the moment?
A CANON 5D Mk III with 24-105 mm Canon lens.
Do you spend much time in post-production?
I SPEND a little time on most pictures using Lightroom, as I prefer enhancement rather than cheating. Sometimes Photoshop, to be creative.
Do you have any advice for budding photographers?
KEEP looking at the work of others for inspiration, and keep trying something different.
