YOUNGSTERS have been dancing their socks off in preparation for their annual performance this weekend.

More than 130 young people from the Joanne Banks Dancers have been dancing round the clock for the show extravaganza, called Reach Out, at the Gala Theatre, in Durham on Friday, from 7pm and Saturday, at 2.30pm and 7pm.

Glittering costumes and on-point routines in tap, jazz, ballet and even acrobatic dance, have been prepared for the opening 1980s theme while a Motown theme for the finale will be adding soul.
