SINCE he became leader of the Labour Party, Jeremy Corbyn has been under intense scrutiny concerning his political past which is now not only causing consternation within the Labour Party but with the British public at large.

With the prospect of him being a possible prime minister after the next general election, such coverage of his credentials is quite valid.

How would he be accepted by other world leaders as representing British values is open to debate but he has time to decide whether or not he is up to the task.

After about 30 years in Parliament without being given any ministerial positions by the Labour Party, the jury remains out.
