I AM sure I am one of millions who feel totally dissatisfied and disenfranchised by all the political parties currently proclaiming to be the sole protectors of our fragile democracy whilst ignoring the actual wishes of the silent majority unless it actually meets with their very narrow party dogma.

Therefore I would like to see an additional tick box added to all ballot papers for all elections with the script “none of the above” so that we could indicate that there is nobody we wish to vote for.

These could be also counted so that the so called peoples representatives would have actual proof of their unpopularity rather than just non-votes which they can and do ignore.

I have written to my MP (Laura Pidcock) on this subject and as you can imagine the silence is deafening so far, but I live in hope.
