I READ this week that Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has called on Theresa May to call a national public holiday if England win the World Cup. What a splendid idea.
No doubt industry leaders will complain about the impact on factory productivity and suchlike, but let’s be honest, if we win in next Sunday’s final then no one will be fit and sober enough to turn up for work on Monday anyway.
