THERE is nothing worse than relaxing in the garden on a sunny day, listening to the constant barking of a neglected dog or two down the street as some of readers have complained about. I myself have had this problem for many a year.

A nearby house must have a wolf for a pet, which howls relentlessly for hours on end whilst its owners are out. This past week I’ve got a new sound to concentrate on – a cockerel, and I live on a council estate!
