THE two recent writers who despise pigeons and seagulls, amongst many other creatures, and those who care about them, seem to have conveniently forgotten the huge part that gentle pigeons played in winning the First World War.
Many were injured and killed due to human’s dysfunction.
Don’t cockroaches eat waste food, as do flies, and thus help to clean things up as well?
And, if you’ve lived with an animal or bird, you’ll have seen that they are mainly more aware than so many cossetted humans these days?
