THE big ‘waffling shop’ at Westminster is grossly inept, uninspiring, dilatory and worse still, stuck in the doldrums of brainless inaction.

There should be an enthusiasm from ministers and Members of Parliament to create full employment working in tandem with low cost accommodation.

School leavers need to get into work. Sometimes this means taking low paid jobs at first, and getting into the habit of being up and about, and working five or six days a week. Just proving that you can do this, is good for the CV, and is a springboard to better job prospects. There has been far too much accent by government on cost cutting and hoarding funds.

We urgently need to the sort of direction suggested by John Maynard Keynes way back in the 1930s.

We really urgently need a new political party as well!
