THE Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) select committee said that Team Sky “crossed an ethical line” by using drugs allowed under anti-doping rules to enhance performance instead of just for medical need, but did not break the rules.
Five things stand out:
1) Team Sky did not break any of the World Anti Doping Agency rules.
2) Are there any ethics in any professional sport?
3) Are Team Sky doing anything different to any other team?
4) It was all ‘beliefs’, no evidence.
5) How can MPs ever comment on ethics?
