Darlington Central Library, Crown Street, Darlington
IT was encouraging to read the letters from Sheila Harris and Paul Howell about Darlington library (HAS, Nov 4).
It would be a gesture from Darlington councillors to fund the costs of prolonging this library closure out of their allowances.
Currently the only losers are Darlington council taxpayers.
This may encourage the council to be more pro-active in future.
What are the costs of the legal action to date?
