HEAR ALL SIDES: Letters to the Editor
RECENTLY I made it to 74 not out, although recently there have been times when I thought I might have to retire hurt, but I’ve adjusted my soap dish and pads and got my head down.
On the big day, when I switched on my computer, I was surprised to see an image of burning candles and when I clicked on the Google icon, it flashed “Happy Birthday Victor”.
Big Brother or what?
Many years ago there was a TV advert for cigarettes which proclaimed: “You’re never alone with a Strand”. Now it would appear you’re never alone with Google.
