WHEN will travel insurance be made compulsory for travel abroad?

It could be easily policed by a sticker or stamp in the passport.

Better still make it inclusive in the holiday price, that way if you can’t afford the insurance you can’t afford the holiday.

There are stories every week of people taking ill or having accidents abroad.

The health system even in European countries is not like ours.

Most of Spain’s medical services are private hence my insurance is higher to go there. The E111 card only goes so far.

Nowadays, with the internet, there is no excuse for not knowing what you are covered for in each country.

Maybe Brexit is a chance to change the system.
