THE “paradise papers” show that laws created by the rich are there to help the rich avoid paying tax.

Look no farther than the House of Lords which costs £7m a year and not a penny in tax paid. Some of these lords are already millionaires and pick up a £300-a-day allowance with no tax to pay because it goes down as expenses.

When I was working, if you got 20 quid Xmas box you paid a fiver tax so why can’t the £7m lords be taxed with the £1.4m raised going to the NHS?
