I WAS reading the letter by G Carr (HAS, Oct 11) and nearly choked on my dinner when I read the part when he stated: “The Labour Party, with its long history of fairness and tolerance, of respecting people even though not agreeing with them.”
As a former BNP member I have first hand experience of Labour’s ‘tolerance’ and ‘respect’ to those that don’t agree with them and it is fair to say that Labour is the most bigoted party I have had dealings with.
