BOTH Jeremy Corbyn and Theresa May will want to assert their authority at their party conferences and suppress the differences within their parties.
The moderate MPs in the Labour Party will not want their influence to be reduced yet Mr Corbyn has to convince his supporters that they have a big say in the future of the Labour Party.
On the other hand, Mrs May has to assure the Conservative Party that her vision for Brexit is the right one so she can keep all factions on side.
Both conferences could provide several interesting debates which could clarify who comes out the stronger.
