MAY I take this opportunity to thank so many people that made the recent ‘Party In The Park 2017’ at Jubilee Park in Spennymoor so memorable.
The free event was a great success and proved hugely popular with thousands attending the show last Friday (11th August).
The Town Clerk, Katherine Hierons and the team - including Colin Ranson, Louise Holmes and others at Spennymoor Town Council worked tirelessly to make this event so very good.
I love the idea of an event that features local acts from our area being given a stage to perform to the locals - and at no cost to the public.
The feedback has been fantastic and further proof that this really is something unique to our area.
Congratulations to the team at Spennymoor Town Council for arranging such a great live gig.
