WHY was Theresa May allowed to call a General Election in the middle of the local election campaigns, which I consider, influenced the outcome of the General Election results?

The Government was in the middle of a five year fixed parliament and the outcome puts the PM in a worse position than she was prior to June 8. She has a hung parliament, without any credible partners.

I found that the snap election resulted in rushed up manifestos. The Labour one, in particular, was unaffordable even if desirable.

All political parties should prepare now for a second General Election and consider removing NHS parking charges for our excellent NHS staff and patients. Agree to drop wage restrictions on the NHS staff and give them at least one per cent above inflation for the next five years.

The air ambulance service should be funded from the public purse.

Give the people in England the same deal re care for the elderly, free prescriptions and abolish student tuition fees, as the people in Scotland receive.

Invest our own money into the UK jobs market, by giving additional funding for new technologies, to produce jobs for our younger, job seekers.

Ensure that our armed forces and police are adequately funded.
