ARE there any regulations in relation to the intensity of bike lights? If not there should be.
Due to the high intensity of modern bike lights and the unthinking attitude of cyclists, I have on a few occasions been forced to stop on a country lane as I was blinded by a light shining from up to a quarter of a mile away.
Why can’t they dip their lights like a car driver?
As for high intensity flashing back lights, you try following one for a distance when you can’t get past a selfish cyclist without your eyes being affected.
I know on the increasingly busy roads that it is imperative for cyclists to be seen but is it necessary to blind us in the process?
