POLICE have issued descriptions of three suspects they are looking for in connection with a break-in at a chocolate shop.
Thieves left empty-handed after forcing their way into Thorntons, in Newgate Street, Bishop Auckland, between 1am and 2am on Thursday.
The first suspect is described as wearing a dark grey or blue balaclava, a dark grey hoodie with red writing across the chest and black stripes over the shoulder. The second was wearing a light grey hoodie, blue jeans and was the tallest of the three and of slim build. The third suspect was the smallest and was wearing a grey coat with a hood.
The incident forced Thorntons to close for the day, costing the business about £600 in lost trade.
Witnesses are asked to call the crime team at Bishop Auckland on 101.
