DETECTIVES are trying to trace the rightful owners of items seized during a house search which they believe to be stolen property.
Officers searched a premises in the Bishop Auckland area on Monday and recovered a number of items including digital television boxes, keys and a mobile phone.
The items can be viewed on The Northern Echo website or Bishop Auckland police's Facebook page. Anyone who believes the property is theirs can contact Investigating Officer Louise Coglan or PC Sarah Rooney at South Durham CID on 101, extension 742520.
