BUS lovers are in for a treat tomorrow when they can take a tip down memory lane a fleet of vintage vehicles take to the roads.

The 500 Group will be running its annual Teesside Bus Vintage Running Day throughout the day.

This is the seventeenth event organised by the Stockton based group of bus enthusiasts.

Middlesbrough’s historic Transporter Bridge will be the base for a series of bus routes to be operated by a number of vintage and restored vehicles.

Passengers will be carried to Middlesbrough Bus Station, Stand 15 and on to Stockton High Street (stand J). Passengers can then go either Yarm Town Hall, Norton Green or Billingham and return via four different routes to Middlesbrough and the Transporter.

Travel on the buses is free and a printed programme will be available from the control bus at the Transporter Bridge.

The buses will be running between 10.30am and 5pm.
