WOMAN of the moment Scarlett Moffatt's earnings are set to "rocket" after her coronation as queen of the jungle.

According to industry experts, the I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! winner could be pocketing more than £1million in the next 12 months.

Scarlett, of Bishop Auckland, was working as a disability adviser for students when she shot to fame as the straight-talking, fluffy slippers-wearing regular on Channel 4 show Gogglebox.

The 26-year-old's quips as she sat watching TV with dad Mark, 49, and mum Betty, 45, from their sofa turned the Moffatts into one of Gogglebox's most-loved families.

Talent executive Jessica Bendien, the founder and director of celebrity booking agency Bang Talent, said: "The world is her oyster now Scarlett's queen of the jungle.

"The fact that Scarlett was a genuine fan and truly overwhelmed and excited by being on the show made her incredibly endearing."

She added: "Scarlett will be top of every channel and producer's wish list. As well as hosting her own show, I see her being asked to be team captain on comedy panel or game shows, fronting anything fitness/weight loss-related, perhaps for This Morning, and even being asked to be a Loose Woman."

Scarlett has also had endorsements from her former teacher and now deputy headteacher of Greenfield Community College, Ron Milton, who believes she would be the perfect fit as a presenter on children's TV.

The reality star attended the school's Sunnydale Campus, in Shildon, which was the then Sunnydale Community College.

He said: "Scarlett was very head strong and always said from day one she wanted to be famous. She was a warm character as well.

"Everybody is delighted that she has gone on to make a success of a career in the entertainment business and wish her well in the next venture."

Mr Milton, who is a fan of the ITV show, said the celebrity had stayed in contact with the school and thanked staff for their support following her initial television success in 2013 on MTV's Beauty School Cop Outs.

Offers are said to have been pouring in for Moffatt, who transferred to the school after experiencing "issues" with her previous peer group.

But a source close to Moffatt said she will not be rushing into anything and wants to spend time with her family - which also includes little sister Ava.

"TV channels, as well as publishers and fashion brands, have all expressed interest in Scarlett, " the source said.

"She has only just left the jungle and will need to gather her thoughts about her future. Her priority will be her family."

Moffatt is already set to release a weight-loss DVD, after shedding two stone earlier this year, and previously published a book, Scarlett Says, containing her thoughts on "life, the universe and everything".
