MANX Missile Mark Cavendish was the star attraction as the British Cycling Road Race Championships came to Stockton.
The sprint ace was warming up for the Tour de France and brought the crowds out as the riders prepared to set off on their 100-mile plus ride around the Teesside area.
He gave his thoughts on the race beforehand.
