A FAMILY is appealing for the public’s help in finding their missing pet.
Pony, a greyhound, went missing at Maiden Moor, near Derwent Water in the Lake District, on Wednesday, July 22.
The four-year-old dog was out with owner Dan Seale, 43, from Dipton, County Durham, and his daughters Bella, ten, and Rosie, eight.
Days of appeals and searches have followed but still Pony remains missing.
A possible sighting was reported by a farmer on Wednesday (July 29).
The family is appealing to anyone visiting the Lake District to keep an eye out for their beloved pet.
Pony is dark brindle and white and a former rescue dog who has been with the Seale family since last September.
Anyone who sees him is asked to call Dan or Barbara Seale on 07967-948-861 or 07989-444-401.
