A PROPERTY agent is taking part in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning to raise money for charity.

Venture Properties, based in County Durham, will hold a coffee morning on Friday (September 26) between 8.30am and 1pm to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

The team are hoping to beat last year's fundraising total of £2,863.

Carl Jenkinson, director at Venture Properties, said: “We are delighted to yet again be involved in this event and all of our offices will be taking part in the challenge where the team work extremely hard to generate as much money for our chosen charity as possible.”

Events will be held at their offices in Darlington, Chester-le-Street, Crook and Durham, and will include a raffle with prizes donated by local businesses.

Macmillan’s fundraising manager, Michelle Muir said: “We want to make sure no one has to face cancer alone but we can't do it without the amazing people who fundraise for us and Venture Properties are one of them.

“Sadly the number of people being diagnosed with cancer is increasing every year and that means Macmillan’s support for people living with cancer is in more demand than ever.”
