A RAFT race has raised more than £2,000 for charity.
Twelve teams of up to six people contested the 2014 Durham Raft Race on the River Wear in Durham City on Sunday, June 8.
The event raised £2,289, which was split between The Fire Fighters Charity and the Great North Air Ambulance.
The event was organised by students from New College Durham, where the cheque presentation ceremony took place.
Organisers have confirmed the Raft Race will be repeated next year, on Saturday, June 6.
