RAIL passengers are facing disruption in the North-East due to Storm Henry.
First TransPennine Express services are affected.
A First TransPennine Express spokesperson said: “Due to damage sustained to overhead electric wires our services between Newcastle and York are currently disrupted.
"The disruption is expected to continue throughout the night and into tomorrow.
"We are currently running hourly buses between Newcastle, Chester-le-Street and Durham, while rail replacement services will run between Northallerton and Darlington.
"Our tickets are currently being accepted on Virgin East Coast and Cross Country services between Newcastle and York.
"Customers are being asked to plan ahead and check their journey before they travel through the national rail enquires website, our app @TPExpressTrains or our journey checker tool www.journeycheck.com/tpexpress.”
