Accident causes delays on A1(M)
MOTORISTS on the A1(M) in North Yorkshire faced delays this morning after a crash on the northbound carriageway.
The collision took place at about 7am at junction 48 near Boroughbridge.
Highways officers and police were called to the scene and closed two lanes while the vehicles involved were moved onto the hard shoulder.
North Yorkshire Police Roads Policing Group said: "Please be patient while we clear the scene and investigate."
At 8.15am Highways North East says the two closed lanes had been reopened.
