A fridge too fur
A WORRYING tale about a hamster that hadn't been moving from the side of its cage has had a happy ending.
The story has emerged via Twitter of a little girl who took her pet to the vet because of its inactivity.
It turned out that the hamster had escaped from its cage earlier in the week and was found hiding under the fridge.
Upon examination, the vet found a fridge magnet inside the animal's cheek pouch. The explanation was that it had actually been stuck to the bars of the cage by magnetic force!
