Edin Mehic was fined for burping after eating a kebab
A BARMAN has won a legal appeal after being fined for burping in public.
Edin Mehic was told to pay 70 euros after he was arrested for allegedly belching loudly next to a police officer after eating a kebab at an amusement park in Vienna. He was said to have violated public decency.
However, a court has now ruled there was no proof he deliberately intended to cause offence.
