SENIOR staff at a library have been caught fiddling their readership figures to get more funding.
Several bogus readers were discovered at East Lake County Library in Florida after its readership figures went up by four per cent, leading to a bigger local government grant.
One fake reader, Chuck Findlay, was found to have borrowed 2,600 books in nine months, often returning them within an hour.
