PLANS to mark the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's death by driving a flock of sheep through Stratford-upon-Avon have ended in chaos.
The stunt, by the Countryfile TV programme, was meant to celebrate Shakespeare's family connections with the wool trade.
But the sheep were spooked by the crowds and ran amok for 20 minutes before being recaptured.
