PEDRO, the homing pigeon, has finally been flown back to dry land - by helicopter.
After being blown off course, Pedro landed exhausted on an oil rig 160 miles off Scotland.
But after being nursed back to health by oil rig workers, he has been flown to Aberdeen in a helicopter before being transferred to an animnal rescue centre.
