AN Irish Catholic priest has become a national sensation after staging a charity boxing match against a parishioner.
Father Pierre “Jalapeno” Pepper donned boxing gloves for the fundraising punch-up against Jared “The Artful Dodger” Madden in a marquee in the small town of Banagher.
The pugilistic priest won the three-round fight on points and was up to conduct mass the following morning.
