Middleton St George, Darlington
A BY-ELECTION will be held next week to elect a new member of a parish council following a notice of vacancy published in February.
Two candidates, Alan James Blacklee and Alex Sinski are both standing in the Middleton St George Parish Council vote on Thursday, May 3.
Many other councils will be holding Local Government Elections on this date, but this will be the sole election in Darlington.
If residents have not already registered to vote in the election, they cannot cast a vote on the day.
