Radical cleric released on bail

Abu Qatada Abu Qatada

A RADICAL cleric who poses a serious risk to the UK's national security was freed on bail tonight under some of the toughest conditions imposed since the September 11 terror attacks, sources said.

Abu Qatada was banned from taking his youngest child to school, must stay inside his home for 22 hours a day, and cannot talk to anyone who has not been vetted by the security services first.

Once described by a judge as "Osama bin Laden's right-hand man in Europe", he was also banned from meeting 27 named individuals, including new al Qaida leader Ayman al-Zawahiri.

We should leak the address to the Jordanian government who want him deported so they can torture him. Then look the other way when they come to collect him. Shocking that this is how evil dangerous terrorists are treated in this backwards country.

who gives a toss if he gets treated fairly in his own country ?
send him back & see what happens as I am sure he wouldn't care for anyone in this country when he decides to start bombing & killing innocent people .

Can anyone explain to me why this man has to be deported back to his "own country"? (serious query)
.
Why can't the government just take him to Heathrow, and tell him to take his pick of outgoing flights? As long as he's out of the UK, do we really care where he is?

Apparently he's also wanted by several other European countries (such as Belgium) which don't torture people,
so why not send him to one of these countries?

This country is the sanctuary for all the worlds lowlifes, criminals & terrorists who then get human rights legal teams exploiting the human rights act at taxpayers expense to keep them here on huge taxpayer funded benefits that they have not or ever will contribute to. No other country would do this, our loony laws are either being laughed at by the rest of the world or ridiculed. How come countries like Australia are able to deport UK born criminals who have lived their for decades back here with impunity and we can do nothing? This country is the only one which takes human rights to the extreme and puts criminals/terrorists rights above everything and everyone else! The dogooders are destroying our society and the government is powerless to do anything as they bow down to the unelected European court of human rights. Disgraceful.
