BUSINESSES based at Lingfield Point Business Park in Darlington were left without electricity today morning after a power cut caused by a faulty transformer.
NEDL, the company which distributes electricity to the business park, received a call at 5.09am to tell them that power had been lost on the site.
Engineers were on the scene by 5.55am, and power was restored by 11.20am.
Ross Broadbent, a spokesman for NEDL, said: We apologise for any inconvenience caused."
