HUNDREDS of bikers are expected to don their Santa costumes and ride through the streets of Teesside as part of their annual fundraiser.
Members of the Boundary 500 will yet again raise vital funds for the Zoe’s Place Children’s Hospice, which has received more than £200,000 from the group over the years.
Founding member and organiser Brian Laverick said: “Since we started the Motorcycle Santa Ride in December 2006 and we have now raised in excess of £219,000 for the hospice.
“Hopefully after this years ride we will be close to the quarter of a million mark.”
The riders will set off from Thornaby town centre at 11.30am tomorrow (Saturday, November 26) before heading towards Stockton, Middlesbrough and finishing up at Kirkleatham Museum near to Redcar by around 1.15pm.
They will have a police escort as they wind their way across Teesside where thousands of supporters are expected to fill the streets to show their appreciation for the bikers and make donations.
