DUE to a production problem that happened on Wednesday night at our print centre only about half of Thursday's Northern Echo's were produced.

This resulted in some newsagents not receiving their usual quota of copies and some home deliveries not being fulfilled.

We apologise for any disappointment or inconvenience this may have caused.

The problem has now been rectified and normal service will resume on Friday.

After the production line fault was fixed additional copies of the Echo were printed and delivered to newsagents, stores and supermarkets across the region.

If you are still having a problem finding a copy of Thursday's paper please contact Robert Drummond, Newspaper Sales Manager on 01274-705367 or email homedelivery@nne.co.uk
