EMERGENCY services have sealed off part of a North-East town and evacuated a school following a major fire.
Fire crews say the blaze, near to the Dean and Chapter pub, in Ferryhill, is now out.
However, they have closed the road as the building contains gas bottles which could still pose an explosion risk.
The A167 running alongside Ferryhill was closed until 3.30pm.
