Man's body found hanging in Darlington church yard
AN investigation is under way after a man's body was found hanging at the entrance of a church yard on Easter Monday.
A member of the public alerted police after finding the body near St Cuthbert's Church, in Darlington, as she walked to work at about 7.45am.
The man, who was aged in his early 30s, was confirmed dead at the scene.
A Durham Police spokeswoman said the man's death is not being treated as suspicious.
The coroner has been informed and an inquest will take place in due course.
