YOUNGSTERS with an eye for photography are being encouraged to enter a national competition.
The National School Photography Awards is open to primary, secondary and sixth form students across the country, and gives youngsters the chance to show off their artistic flair and photography skills.
Run by FSE Design, in partnership with Jessops and Manfrotto, the competition is split into three categories, which all have a different theme.
Primary school pupils can photograph things they love about the school, secondary students can document a typical school day, and sixth form students are asked to explore the brief “pride in my school.”
All prize winners will receive a £50 Jessops Photo printing voucher, accessory starter kit and Manfrotto BeFree tripod, as well as either an Olympus O-MD E-M10 camera, a Nikon D3300, or Canon EOS 700D.

The closing date for entries is March 31.
