SANTA has made it even easier for you to get your Christmas lists to him.

With a little help from some elves he has released his address and is expecting your letters soon.

The Royal Mail, which has helped get letters to his Grotto for more than 50 years, said: "Santa is extremely busy at the North Pole, making sure all the presents, including yours, are ready and wrapped for Christmas Eve.

"It is a very exciting time for all. Rudolph and Santa cannot wait to land at your home with all your gifts.

"Rudolph is especially looking forward to eating the carrots you kindly leave and maybe a mince pie for Santa."

Alex McConnell has the special task of ensuring children’s letters reach Reindeerland at the North Pole.

Last year he managed to get more than 200,000 letters there.

He said: “We are very proud that Santa has allowed us to help manage the hundreds and thousands of special letters he receives from boys and girls across the UK.

"His special team of helpers at Royal Mail enjoy taking a peek at what children are asking for this year and helping Santa reply to these special letters.”

Property website StreetCheck said that the Grotto contains a "sizeable workforce" including 10,000 elves, 1,000 reindeer and 200 snowmen and yeti. They are needed to help with sleigh pulling, toy making, administration and delivery.

To make sure your letter arrives, send it to Santa's Grotto, Reindeerland, XM4 5HQ before Saturday, December 6.

Make sure you include your name, address and a stamped envelope.
