WEATHERMAN Paul Mooney joined Pudsey Bear to urge people to buy a special calendar to support Children in Need.
The BBC Look North weather calendar contributes thousands of pounds each year to the national fundraiser by featuring the best images of the North East and Cumbria taken by viewers.
Mr Mooney and Pudsey visited Joseph Pease Place in Darlington town centre to drum up support for the charity and to show off the new 2015 calendar.
Mr Mooney said: “The calendar is always very popular with our viewers and last year sales made more than £15,000 for Children in Need.
"It’s because it makes so much for the charity and it features our viewers own photos that it remains so popular."
Each calendar costs £6, with at least £2 from each copy sold going to Children in Need.
