WORK is continuing apace on the Pedestrian Heart scheme in Darlington.
Builders are paving around the corner from West Row onto Blackwellgate.
They are also continuing to lay the sandstone paving along High Row and constructing the steps between the third planter and the water feature. Electrical work is to be carried out around the newly-installed bus stand J in Tubwell Row.
This will be followed by paving in and around the shelter, which is expected to be completed by the middle of next week.
Workers will then move on to work at bus stop K, near the Tubwell Row entrance to the Cornmill Centre.
Anyone with concerns or questions about the scheme are asked to contact Geraint Williams on 07950-498752 or 01325-388042.
