A WEST Wickham woman has returned from a fortnight's trip distributing wheelchairs in Kenya.

Shirley Raymond, 66, of Gates Green Road, gave out wheelchairs which had been refurbished in British prisons.

With a team from the charity Wheels of the World, she toured overland across the country to show people who had previously been getting about on their hands and knees how to use their new chairs.
