'DERANGED poetesses' will ruminate on motherhood during an event later this month.
Five poets from across the region will share their work on mothers at the ARC in Stockton on Saturday, June 30.
Organised by Apples and Snakes, the Deranged Poetesses event will feature performances from Sky Hawkins, Carmen Marcus, Lisette Auton, Louise Fazackerley and Sez Thomasin.
Their work will draw on experiences of mental ill-health, fostering, pregnancy, reproductive rights, disabilities, gender and non-binary parenthood.
Suitable for audiences over 14-years-old, it will take place from 7pm with admission on a pay what you decide basis.
